Project: Web Design and Development
Location: Jalisco, Mexico
The website was built on a scroll down page, which had to comply with the purposes of the Magic Christmas Program of the shopping center, in which various aspects and points that identified the square were integrated during this season. The project highlighted illustration and animation of characters, layout and programming of an interactive map and integration of sounds.
MAGIC CHRISTMAS PROGRAM
Development of the page
The main objective of the website was to project the Christmas image of the shopping plaza. In the interactive map, the graphic elements that were distributed around the shopping center in a physical way were integrated, such as the ducklings and characteristic elements of Christmas such as the Christmas tree.
You can see sections with well-defined content blocks, which shows the information clearly and highlights the formality of the brand. Solid colors were used to emphasize calls to action.
Colorful images from the projects illustrate the content and contrast the overall monochrome tone of the site.
For the interactive map, a scale version of the plaza was made, in which the elements found in the shopping plaza were placed, so that users could identify where they were and invite them to discover the rest. Animations and illustrations with sound were made to create the "Christmas" atmosphere.
Part of the animations were the curious ducklings who were assigned names and special characteristics that distinguished them around the commercial plaza physically, and whose position could be located on the website. Likewise, characteristic elements of Christmas were animated with the design adapted to the identity of Andares. Some of these were the Three Wise Men, The Virgin Mary, the Christmas Bear and the Holy Family.
The site was built responsively, that is, it was adapted 100% to all devices to improve the user experience regardless of the device from which they connected to the page.
