Project: Brand Development, Web Design and Development
Client: Festival del Lago
Brand Creation: concept, name, logo design, poster design, Email design and website development for the Festival Del Lago International Music Academy, located in Ajijic, Jalisco.
This project was a music festival that attracts Mexican and foreign students, mainly Canadians and Americans. The target group is aged between 18 and 29 years with a medium / medium-high socioeconomic profile, additionally characterized by a very high educational level.
One of the main characteristics of the event was the importance of musical technique and the relationship of artistic inspiration and nature.
With the brand name we wanted to describe and summarize the main characteristics of the festival: the musical formation and the location. Based on a market research, we decided to use a brand name in Spanish, which is also easily pronounceable in English. As conceptual elements we use:
The sound : that flees like water and spreads like waves until it reaches our ears. Break the silence as the breeze does with the surface of the water.
The lake, water : the festival attendees will contemplate both, with the lake as a curtain they will be able to focus on the music.

This name evokes the location and temporality of the event in an elegant, innovative way without breaking with the traditional.
. Encompass Clásico
Verb. A metric entity that means to surround or contain within it, we seek to describe the feeling of absolute immersion in the music and nature that the attendees will have.
. Festival Ondulante
A Name that takes as reference the way in which the sound of musical instruments, comparing it with the movement of water.
